ok... so have a lovely 2 x 2 WIR on slabs,

Using clear tarp as a roof.

But already this lovely Summer realise that apart from driving rain, (more clear tarp or solid plastic walling)

The problem is rain from the roof and sides just running into the run at floor level...

What have others done.

Was wondering if just simpler to construct permanent like car port over the top????

You are best off putting a permanent solid clear plastic roof on it,which slopes slightly to one side,or is properly pitched.Then you can fix guttering to it & get a water butt,if you like.

I have used clear PVC corrigated sheets from C & A Building Plastics.

 

It now works well after adjusting the slope (we didn't have it sloped enough to start with. Now just got to attach guttering.
