Chortle Chook
I've found it quite hard to find books on ducks that are for someone who just wants to keep a couple in their back garden. Waterfowl books seem to be either for those who want to show their birds (and are full of technical looking diagrams) or those who want to keep a significant flock and sell eggs on a large scale. Then there are also a host of books for those who have a stately home with a lake and want to keep fancy ducks and swans Even the book that is sold on Omlet "Storey's Guide to Raising Ducks" by Dave Holderread did not help me much. I've finally unearthed these two which I found were easy to use and very readable. "Ducks & Geese" by LIz Wright (this one has lovely pictures ) "Keeping Ducks & Geese" by Chris & Mike Ahston Does anyone else have any favourite ducky books - or indeed websites? Cheeky Chooky
I've got 'Keeping Ducks and Geese' by Chris and Mike Ashton but even that's quite basic and I agree, it's very difficult to find the kind of 'Pet Duck' book that we're looking for
