For the past 4 days, OH and I have been ill in bed with a horrendous cold. We are only getting up for more liquids, to go to the loo, to check the chickens and to feed the cats... We are bearly eating anything as we feel too ill to eat.

 

The cats have been amazing, they have been keeping vigil at the bedside, licking us to groom us, been more cuddly and affectionate than usual... And Harry, bless him, even tried to tempt me to eat with a bit of dead mouse. Ok, not my food of choice, but the fact that he was willing to share his catch obviously shows he's concerned about my welfare.

 

I feel really blessed to have such loving and affectionate babies that I had to share

Awww what lovely nurses you have. I bet they snuggled up when you had the shivers too.

 

Cats are brilliant.
