Fence panels - modular system

Recommended Posts

I'm sure that I read about this on the Forum some time ago, but I've searched and searched and can't find anything. It was a fencing system of panels - which I think were wooden frames with mesh in them - and they were held upright and together with a spike, not unlike the Omlet netting ones, which went through a sort of metal eye on the end of each frame. This way you could move the fence around fairly easily, and change its shape/length when needed.

This isn't meant to keep hens safe from predators, it's to keep them out of my veg patch. The Omlet netting is wearing out but I don't want to put in permanent fencing - sometimes I open up a couple of beds so the hens can clean them up, and I may expand or contract the veg garden depending on how much time I have available.

Does anyone recognise the above description, or have you seen it anywhere? I'm sure it was an online supplier, and I'm kicking myself that I didn't bookmark it. I know that someone handy with a hacksaw and an electric drill could probably knock up frames like this very quickly, but I am not that person!

Glad to be of help!! I thought it seemed a useful system that you could easily move/change and add too! I settled on a cube and 4 metre run for the pekin gang in the end.

Could I be cheeky and ask your help??? I've a thread in the chicken clinic and "Ooops, word censored!"ody has posted back yet :( Would have a look and please give me your opinion? Thanks!
