Anyone notice the hazelnut trees (or is it a bush?) appear to have a bumper crop this year? Maybe the wet weather is good for something after all The new one in my garden has got a few nuts on so I am very excited to get my first crop, but the one at the local railway station is positively heaving with fruit! No wonder the squirrels all hang out there! Just realised I will need to stop them getting my crop too Should I pollard it after the fruit has matured?
