counturchickens
I posted a few weeks ago about our new pol, who just integrated themselves by going to bed in the cube. 2 weeks ago we got 3 ex commercial hens (rather bald ex free range). They've been sectioned off, but have been having supervised free range together. As we were busy in the house at dusk I popped them all into the wir until it got dark. When I went out to shut the house door 2 of the 3 were in the cube, so popped the last one in. Back to one house to clean, which is a relief as the spare house isn't as easy as the cube. Well done the girls
poppers77
Ever so slightly jealous. Here we are 3 months down the line from Integrating 3 ex batts to our 2 existing terrors they r the pecked and the pecker aka Flo but she should really be called attilla she is sooo aggressive! She patrols the garden with the sole aim of finding and chasing! So the ever patient batts live at the top of the garden in a classic & Flo & Gwinnie reign on in a 10 Bird wooden complete with mezian roosting level and WIR! The eglu is far easier to clean though!
