The Dogmother
I have the Kindle app installed on my (PC) laptop and netbook.... not that I get to read anything on it ... and I have a couple of questions which I can't seem to find answers to in Kindle help. Is it possible to password the Kindle app? I notice that my devices which synch under this app are helpfully named by default as **'s PC and **'s PC2; I have no way of knowing which one pertains to which machine, any ideas as to how I can find this out? WitchHazel
Hi Clare Not sure if this will help... on my Kindle (I have the paper white one), when I go to the home page, at th etop left hand corner I can see the name that device is known by, I need to charge my tablet to see what that says.... I'll come back in a bit. Right, I'm back. For my tablet, I went to the Kindle menu, selected settings, and from there I can see the device name. Hope that helps. WitchHazel
Clare, I've just downloaded Kindle for PC (to my PC, obviously). Top left hand corner, above the menu File View Go Tools Help... you should be able to see the name
