Smart Feeder - Light sensor values

I've been desperately trying to work out who is laying. Dorothy was the first to squat and small but perfect eggs started arriving in the nest box soon after. Then Buffy started squatting too. We have been getting daily eggs for about two weeks now, in the nest box, very similar... Have been trying to work out if it is all one girl, if they are alternating, what is going on!! Seems to often for one hen, but always there in the morning when I let them out and never two, until today! Went to clean them out and there was an egg, number two for the day, but sat in the run! Now I definitely (almost) know I have two laying, but doesn't solve the history puzzle or the who puzzle! Still warrants an egg dance though!!

Well done those girls!!!! I wish to be able to do the egg dance!! No eggs here, oh dear!!!! But Florence has been crouching , so maybe soon????

 

Enjoy those yummy eggs! Once we have more daylight hours they may fall in to a pattern and you'll be able to tell who's who!

Had a second egg in the nest box today at a whopping (for us) 58g! Looks different as well so I think Dorothy is responsible for our daily offering to date and Buffy is the newbie! And to add to the excitement Annette is crouching - not for me, for Dot when she tells her off.... Mildly worrying but super excited for our first non pink egg (hopefully).
