I while back I was puzzling about a real stench that was coming from the under stairs cupboard. I emptied everything out, nothing doing. Then a few days later I put on my coat and went out without gloves, put my hands in my pockets to keep them warm, and there was a dog poo in its pick up bag which I'd absent mindedly put in my coat pocket goodness knows when

 

For fridge nasties, my mother was telling my dog off recently for cocking his leg against her fridge. I apologetically went to clean up the mess only to find it was some vegetables that had oozed out of the 'keep fresh' fridge draw

Sage wins, but I have confession. When I was in my teens all of my friends had packed lunches but my mum felt that I should have a hot meal, I begged and begged for sandwiches and she finally relented. I discovered however that sandwiches made the night before with her already heavy whole meal homemade bread weren't very nice, so I used to bring them home and put them still in their cling film under my bed. This went on for sometime until the summer holidays came and I went to my grandparents for a fortnight during which time my mum decided to clean my room, probably because of nasty niffs she found my hidden treasure and was understandably furious, the waste of food for a family will little money was unforgivable really. I still feel bad now, for wasting both her food and her time.
