Wanted - Eglu Cube Mk1 Roosting Bars

Thought asking on here might be worth a try as you are all always very helpful: Mother in law bought herself a Toshiba laptop just before Christmas, and after not using it for a while has somehow managed to lock herself out - on switching on it asks for a password which she cannot get right! Either the username or the password she is using is wrong (and we have tried lots of variations on the password!). The username looks a bit odd to me - it is an email address - could she have somehow managed to get the wrong username there? Is there any way to reset the username and password, bearing in mind she can't actually 'get in' to the computer to do anything with it. When she types her password into the box, a message comes up telling her to go to account.live.com/password/reset to reset her password, but when I looked at that on my computer it looked like it was for some sort of account. Anyone have any clue at all as to what on earth is going on with it all???

Its all a conspiracy - but then I'm a Luddite! Seriously, hope you manage to get it sorted out for MIL - these things are infuriating !

 

So many things now require a username/password/pin number and I find it nearly impossible to remember them all unless they are all the same (and security advice is NOT to have the same and NOT to write any of them down so I don't stand a chance!)
