Margaret Posted January 20, 2013 Share Posted January 20, 2013 Off on holiday for 2 weeks next saturday ( Barbados, sorry ) Managed to get girlies off to holiday farm, didn't think we would manage it with all the snow, OH asked what was my plan for them if we wouldn't get there, must admit I didn't have one. Think they will be very shocked today as Scarey farmers wife has them in a run with no cover ( bit like boot camp ) Expect they will love me lots when I go to collect them, as no treats either. She treats them like hens Anyway, for the last 2 1/2 hors as have been trying to clean cube Freezing cold chucking it down with snow... I have finely given up, power washer won't work, think its frozen as well, so have closed the very dirty cube up and praying that Friday is a better day, as I have the day off to go to a funeral before our holiday and maybe able to clean cube before hand. mimi5 Posted January 20, 2013 Share Posted January 20, 2013 Oh I Know!! My cube is frozen shut at the mo!! I did manage to tug out the poo trays on fri and freshen them up!! I use ecover washing up liquid, warm water in a trug with a cloth in this type of weather and dry as I'm going with a dry cloth. I also invested in a spare set of roosting bars, quick turn around!!! I have a power washer but dare'nt use it in this weather!! Hope you're able to freshen it up for your girls return!!! Oh and have a lovely holiday!!
