The kitchen has been a hive of activity this evening. Younger daughter has been making pancakes for her boyfriend, and son has been making lemon curd muffins for his girlfriend for valentine's day. The pancakes were a bit different to the ones I usually make. She used the Jamie Oliver recipe from the Saturday Mail and they were delicious. As for the muffins, my son's friend who is a chef advised freezing blobs of lemon curd in the freezer then putting one in the middle of each muffin. I do hope they turn out well with such a lot of love gone into their making.
