Anyone good with chainsaws..?

Recommended Posts

I have McCulloch something or other, and for the life of nme can't start it. It was fine two days ago, and then just stopped..!

It has (the correct) fuel and oil.

It feels still to pull and occasionally, the pull rope will not fully rewind.

It has me stumped, and talkng of which... I have a tree fall to get rid of before my wife gets home.

Yup... I checked their site and online more generally, but it's not very helpful, and doesn't say to check anything I'm not already aware of... that is, except for... you guessed it... that sparkplug..!

I'll take the cover off (was just hoping to avoid this in favour of some miraculous solution) and hope it's that. Everything else seems to require a professional.

Thanks :)

*Whoops and flexes*

Finally, after following the advice, also having some potential to whine and moan as only a man can do to a third party (thank you freddie) and discovering a loose thing under the cover that has since been reattached (trust me... it looked like a spring, but beyond this description and some assumptions that it had to do with the choke, I have little clue).

We are back to work, and the tree never looked so small..!!

Thanks for the input... I have now graduated to 'chainsaw novice'. :)
