Wanted - Eglu Cube Mk1 Roosting Bars

Hiya,

A friend has recommended this for my son who is 10. He is a climber, a cub (almost scouts) and love anything do do with adventuring.

 

He is also a reluctant reader but is beginning to give things a go. He has some book tokens that he is keen to spend so has anyone read it? Is it more adult or would a 10 year old get it?

I see that Amazon do a Bear Grylls junior version of his book which I think might be more suitable for a ten year old.

 

Otherwise, have you considered the Ray Mears Bushcraft book? Described as "The best selling guide to surviving in the wilderness"? Lots of illustrations of practical things such as tying knots, making shelters and fires (although you might not be keen for him to experiment with the latter!).

My son loved the adventure stories written by Bear. There are 3 or 4 books...really good and suitable for a 10 yr old.
