Prada has bitten through her peck ring (again) and the ten bumper bits I ordered from Wernlas nearly two weeks ago havent arrived. I rang the lady there who said they were sent straight away so I can only assume they are somewhere in the Royal Mail's black hole! The soonest I can get another request to Wernlas is Tuesday and then will have to wait again to see if they turn up If someone could help me out Gucci and I would be very grateful - I will of course replace the bit and postage costs as soon as possible. As soon as your address comes through I will get OH to run to the post box so hopefully you will get it in the morning. Well, we can hope can't we?? I have been boasting that I have bumper bits available (but for emergencies only), and now that at last there is an emergency, Oxfordshire happens to be in the middle of a seven-day postal strike due to finish on Tuesday, so it would be useless me putting them in the post! I'm just pleased that a few of us have got some spares and can help people in need as I know how awful it is to watch bullying/feather plucking going on and not being able to do anything about it. These postal strikes are getting on my nerves now though. The postal staff want Saturdays off or something (is that what it's about?) Round our way they only work half a week anyway!! If customers are not home when he does the windows he puts a ticket through and some of them send a cheque through the post. A while ago a lady told him that she had sent him a cheque weeks before and couldn't understand why he hadn't received it. Guess how long it took to come through?? A whole month!!! The postmark was a month old-so they must have had it sitting in the sorting office somewhere and just couldn't be bothered to deliver it!! Charming eh? Imagine if someone was waiting for an important hospital appointment or something-they would miss it before they even knew about it!!
