Lavenders_Blue
I've been thinking about taking Tango to agility for a little while, but tonight I took the plunge and took her to her first class. What great fun and it turns out she is a natural! She did some jumps, went through the tunnel (first time took an awful lot of persuasion and rather a hefty shove from behind, but she was okay once she got the hang of it!), and started to learn how to weave. Unfortunately she showed me up by taking a dislike to the instructor's husband who was clearing away some of the unused equipment so we all had a headache by the end But apart from that it was great so I've signed up to a regular class. Grandmashazzie
Excellent that's probably a great way to keep fit.
Chucky Mama
It is great fun, I used to do it with my old German Shepherd and really enjoyed it - so did she You'll have to invest in some weave poles
Lavenders_Blue
No room in my garden for agility practice sadly, but my Mum and Dad have a lovely large garden so I can see that they might end up with a few bits of practice kit scattered around! It will probably keep Tango fairly fit (not that she needs to be any fitter than she already is!) but I'm not sure how much it will do for me - she did most of the work last night while I stood around waving treats!
