We had quite a hailstorm and thunderstorm in my bit of London today. This squirrel which I suspect is female had been feeding all day and was determined to carry on. Her tail was flattened and wide and hooked onto the birdtable lid. She kept a dry rump, I thought it was very clever. Squirrels tails are a pretty useful bit of kit.
