blueandwhite
I have missed my veggie plot from my last garden but it was fortified to such an extent (to keep the girls off) that I could barely get in myself! So I didn't bother having one in my new garden. But I found these fab troughs at Ikea and they hook over the fence. I got 3 - this one will be herbs, another with alpine strawberries and one with trailing toms. I'm pleased. I am guessing that if the plants trail too much, Phoebe my super jumper, will try her best to get them though. This is the result of any ground level attempts at planting. Lesley
Lovely planters - I wouldn't be surprised if you find your hens emptying them though

Ain't Nobody Here
Those look just the thing for the new fence I'll be getting at the bottom of my garden . Just had a look on the Ikea website - took a bit of finding but here's the link in case anyone wants it!
blueandwhite
Hope you find them. I did have to drill a few drainage holes in the bottom but I really like them and not a bad price at £10 each. It's taken me 3 years but I think I've found somewhere to grow things with no danger of the girls getting them.
