Omlet cube and run

4 ladies now happily settling into their new home. Still using the cube but with a new 6' x 9' run attached.

Have built it so I can move the walls (and cube) each year so I can swap between two areas giving me a freshly manured veg patch and them some new ground.

An experiment - hope it works.

 

I'm not sure how "secure" the lock on the door needs to be to keep unwanted predators out - any advice ?

2 legged or 4 legged? if it's just 4 legged then a simple barrel bolt with do the trick. if it 2 legged then use a pad bolt and pad lock there the easiest to fit you could use a pad bolt for both situations and omit the padlock if need be.

I use a combination padlock on my run, which is easier because I don't have to fiddle about with a key.
