counturchickens
So, have made baked eggs with Parma ham round the edge. I am currently without a hob as mid way through kitchen re-furb, and was wondering can I just bake eggs in an oven dish, so they would be like a poached egg? Patricia W
Yes, but the yolk is likely to set hard at the high temp you'll need - unless you watch very carefully indeed! Or you like them like that.
counturchickens
Thanks, I might try microwaving them. It's amazing how much you rely on your hob!
Patricia W
For boiled eggs, you can just boil a kettle, put the eggs in the hot water in a pan or bowl, cover and leave for about 7-8 mins. Leave longer if you like a firmer yolk. Eggs should be room temp when you start.
