L Marques
Hi all my Sheela is sitting on 5 eggsits now day 13 i get her out of the nest daily for something to eat and drink but every other day she will make a run to the outside ( she is in the shed) for a scratch dustbath and poo she has never pooped in the shed, but then she stays out,i time her and leave her out for about 20 minutes or so she never went back to the eggs by herself so i pick her up and put her back and she stays no problem. What i want to know is,is 20 minutes OK for the eggs? Thank you.

Shirl
When I was incubating we had several power cuts lasting, from memory, in excess of 6 hours and all 5 fertile eggs hatched. Obviously it would be colder outside but even so I think she could be off for quite a while before a problem occurred.
