I really want to get hold of 1 or 2 blue or green egg laying bantams. Can't seem to find any. Anybody got any recommendations? I can travel to Surrey, Kent or sussex - or would consider delivery. Have looked at the Araucana club website but there don't seem to be many (if any!) breeders listed.. A niche market for someone it seems!? Thank for the tip for Middle farm - will have a look! Having more or less given up on getting Araucana's was indeed considering getting some sort of bantam cross. Although more than adequate, I don't have HUGE space for my chooks and as they will all be sleeping in the same coop and the others will all be bantams (inc pekins) I was wary of putting a large fowl in with them........ Redwing Posted June 10, 2013 Share Posted June 10, 2013 Cream Legbars sadly dont come in bantam form and the large are pretty big. You would probably get away with a very small sized large fowl Araucana, the only breeder I know down that way though has a strain that are the proper large size and I would imagine that most in the surrounding counties are probably related to hers!
