jackian
For the last couple of days one of my little girls Annie has been poorly .It started Sunday afternoon ..She was OK in the morning and laid as usual. The usual sitting under a hedge and hiding in the coup most of the day ,drinking but not eating .. I was waiting to see how shee was today before taking her to the vet .Yesterday Rosie started attacking her lundging at her neck .I put this down to being poorly and Rosie sussing this. The water pistol came out . This morning she came out of the coup so far so good and is quite sprightly but my old girl Clover is going for her and \Clover is the most placid of girls .I just don't under stand what can I do? jackian
Thanks for asking Paulad She is much better. She laid a double yolk egg so I think I would be poorly if I laid that I was more concerned with the bullying and that seems to have stopped .I just think that when they are unwell the others sense it and little Rosie really does want to be above her in the pecking order.I was surprised at Clover though . Mrs_B
Hi, jackian! Glad to read your latest post that Annie is feeling better. I love chickens, but sometimes they can be so cruel to eachother! Hope she keeps improving x
