Eggasperated
Got up this morning to find my cat inside the electric fence surrounding the chicken houses. In her never ending quest to search out baby birds she was in the hedge inside the fence . The fence voltage was 6kv and OH said she had been indoors only 10 minutes earlier, so we can't work out how she got in; but obviously if she could so could a fox. Looking at the trees surrounding the fence she could have gone along a very thin branch and possibly fallen in but then she would never get out again. Luckily the chickens were still shut in as I don't know who would have come off worse . Never a dull moment with pets.
Patricia W
To my ex-bats the electric fence was no barrier either. They started off getting through the net in their usual way, and then when the voltage hit, sqwalked, and just went through faster! That was before we sorted out the voltage though....
