Keeping bedding and eggs in the Go

Recommended Posts

Hi again. Another question for you all!

It's been quite a challenge to keep the bedding in the nest area in our Go... Then today I found one of the eggs had been kicked out into the run.

Any advice? (Apart from getting a big ol' wooden henhouse with separate nesting boxes!!)

I have a feeling my naughty Daisy may have been playing with the eggs...

Thanks....

Mine did this. I think some chickens get a bit humpy if there's another egg there when they want to lay. I tried all sorts of nesting material. They seem to like soft hay or shredded paper best. However mine started pooing in the nesting area . I have since got a very small hutch which is left open all the time. They all lay in that and will not lay in the eglu. They don't poo in it or chuck other eggs out either. GNRGNRPPPPGNR(white chicken)(green eglu)(green eglu)(brown rabbit)!bee!!bee!
