Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Just put on TV while having breakfast and see that on This Morning at 11.45 they are discussing chicken keeping.

Had a look. A bit blah I think it would have led people to believe chickens continue to lay all their lives. Having 2 freeloaders I know that is not the case Also the number of chickens the vet said could live in some of the areas I felt was too high So not very impressed.

That's a bit rubbish .

Yes. They did show an Eglu but didn't discuss the plusses regarding red mite or anything like that. All very superficial. I just hope it doesn't encourage folk to get chickens on a whim
