bluekarin
Flo our three year old hybrid Gingernut type passed away last night. She was being a bit subdued but eating and drinking ok, suddenly went downhill yesterday. Hubby went to dispatch her, but she had already gone We now have a quandary with only having Bo left. I am thinking of keeping her and seeing how she fairs over the winter and then getting some new girls next spring. I don't really want to rehome her and I don't have anything in place to introduce some new girls now. What would you suggest?
Plum
Can you not divide the run Sorry you lost Flo I'd be wanting to get another couple before the winter for warmth in the cube though you can fill the space with crumpled newspaper. Or hire a chicken house and run
bluekarin
Do you know of anywhere you can hire chicken houses from? I wasn't aware you could do that. I didn't think about the winter and it being cold in the cube I will have a rethink on when we shall get some more now.
