umbrella thursday
I wonder if anybody can settle an argument for me. If you have lavender pekin bantams what colour eggs do they lay? We have white and buff who both lay creamy white or pink eggs. Was assuming a lavender would lay the same.
acw295
I have 4 pekins of which 2 are lavenders and only one in lay so far. The one in lay produces very pale shelled eggs so far. Not white, but very pale creamy coloured. I had 1 random light brown egg at the weekend which I think may have come from one of the others (not a lavender) but I am waiting to have a second before I am sure! Otherwise it may be that the lavender (Suki) laid a random brown one too, but I doubt it.

chuckmum6
None of my Pekins lay white, but they do lay cream to light brown.
