Angie
As some know I had a new boiler put in in May last year , then the new Kitchen in October. Junes' Bill wasn't anything out of the ordinary , but the one I opened on Saturday had my jaw falling to the floor. They want to reduce my payments by Half , Yes Half, despite a fuel price increase over the winter months. I had to Phone them yesterday just to check all was in order. They compared last years bill for me and I have used just less than half the gas than usual and a third less electricity ! Did my old boiler and hot water tank really use so much energy ??? I am also in credit , for the first time and there was just one mistake on my Bill.....they hadn't taken my dual fuel discount off , so they are revising my bill. I had to go see my neighbour who had her system changed a few months prior to me and she agreed with the bill, she has had her monthly payment reduced twice now . ( our houses were bought new in 2002 all with the same system and boilers) It just goes to show what a combi can do and new A++ appliances in a new kitchen do to the bills, glad I spent a small fortune now...won't think how long it will take to break even though. Eggasperated
That's good Angie . I wish my new boiler had made those sort of savings on my oil bill .

Olly
Crumbs - I'm thinking about a new boiler, maybe I should take the plunge!
Guest
My daughter had a new boiler, kitchen and appliances in November and she rang me a couple of days ago to say her bills had halved. What a coincidence. Her old boiler was the one put in when the house was built in the 90s so was the old type with a hot water tank, now she has a condensing combi
