Solitary chicken - need advice

I bought a second hand classic for emergency use of course!

Today hubby came home from work and said he thinks I should have a permanent site for it so I can use it all the time, he even suggested getting another second hand classic and site it at the same time

As I am hatching this year for the first time I can fill the incubator up, definitely getting pekins but will look at other bantam breeds, oh the choices!

Just one little question........what will you do with any boys I hatched from my pekins and I got 4 boys and 3 girls Hatching is lovely though Chick watching is great.....but the house goes to wrack and ruin

I know, as they will be in my office initially I don't think much work will get done!

As for the boys if I can't find a home then the lady who I am getting the eggs from offers a dispatching service and there is a man locally who uses them for feeding owls.

Now I have a boy again........keep wondering about cute fluffies But I had 4 boys to re-home last time....managed it but it was a worry
