Chickabee
I always leave the girls pop hole open. I've just moved them all in together, other than the exbats. When I got up this morning, there were only 5 girls milling around, I kept counting them. Then I rushed out in panic, what if one of them had been pecked to death or had died! I rushed outside, but couldn't work out how to slide the lid on the cube, so I opened the nesting box hatch . 3 were laying and one was waiting phew. Then went to check the ex bats. All was fine, but one of them was pecking at something under the roosting bars. It was a softie. First one I've ever seen in 4 years of hen keeping. Will give them some orego stim in their water. They've got grit and have been free ranging, so not worried
