patsylabrador Posted May 8, 2014 Share Posted May 8, 2014 Having a great time. Decided we needed to stock up and get away. Overnight trip to France is perfect. We have been to the beach - not the French beach experience people imagine. Our hotel has a lot of CRS staying in it, something to do with asylum seekers I think. Have eaten too much! Delicious though, beef braised in beer and gingerbread. Sadly served with fries, it deserved some quality wild rice. We have a very romantic view of the police vehicles, the motorway and the brightly lit Auchan sign.
