Poultry Vet in Cheshire

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

This is the first time I have tried to post a message and have no idea what I am supposed to do or how to do it, but I just wanted to let you know about an excellent poultry vet in Northwich for those who live in the area.

One of my gorgeous girls has been bitten, stung or pecked - not sure which - and the wound has become infected. One of her wattles is swollen and sticking out at 90 degrees, and she has a huge lump under her beak. The poor girl has been an inpatient at The Willows Veterinary Hospital in Northwich for the past couple of days, and they have been really good with her. She has been allowed home today thank goodness, full of antibiotics, and hopefully will make a full recovery. She seems to be as perky as ever, is eating and drinking like a horse, and bossing all the other girls around as usual!

I can't work out how to add all the lovely chickens and eglus etc at the end of the message, so will just tell you that I have a green cube and 6 adorable girls: 2 Pepperpots ( Clemmie & Iris),2 Gingernuts ( Rosie & Marigold),1 Snow White (Lily)and 1 Blue Comet (Bluebell).

Hope this works!

regards to all, Amanda
