Hello, it's it possible to add another 1m run to make a 4m run?

Do you already have an extension? The basic run is 2m but you can add 1m extensions... You can add more than 1 but it depends on whether you plan to move your GoUp around a lot as 4m of run is not at easy to move as 2m or even 3m. It is possible though if you want to

I just wondered if another 1m could be added on.

 

I've been gifted 3 hens; a sebright, a goldtop and a frizzle. I've got temporary accommodation for them but want something more secure.

 

Not sure whether to go for a Go Up or a Cube.

I see no reason why you couldn't add another meter, apart from the things bellekatz already mentioned.

Do keep in mind that a run of 4m will be very hard to muck out. I'm already struggling to keep my standard run tidy. And as I have no wheels on my Up (tiny garden), moving it is a three person job. (The chicken haven't offered to help out... )

I'm thinking that I should go for something bigger in case i increase the flock at a later date. Got some Cubes on my watchlist on eBay
