I have a broody who picks up little twigs from the floor and puts then on her back, any idea why? This isn't something she has just done since being broody though, is she a 'special' bird or is it normal. I have kept a lot of chickens, but this is a first!

She is expecting a hatch any time between Sun - Wed, getting excited 8 fertile eggs.
