HarrisonFamily Posted June 14, 2014 Share Posted June 14, 2014 Today, I went to watch my nephew go racing at Lydden race track - it was only a practice but he is in the British championships so is very good - I have never been before and took along my 2 children aged 8 & 9 - we had a great day - it only cost £5 to get on, ice creams a £1,, everyone friendly and the racing a totally wonderful noisy experience... A few weeks a go we hired a canoe again this time £15 an hour - but with picnic etc a lovely morning. Both these experiences I really enjoyed and I think so much better value than alot of things (£25 for the cinema !!!) Has anyone other suggestion for a good day out - we do alot of walks, castles, parks, museums etc but as the children get older I would like to try more Thank you A very proud Aunt of a totally crazy drift champion....
