puddleduck Posted July 5, 2014 Share Posted July 5, 2014 I'm new to keeping quail and have 5 girls collected a week ago, I had 2 eggs within a couple of hours but nothing since I'm feeding layers pellets (crushed) and the odd meal worm/veggie treats Are they still in the settling in period or should I be getting eggs again now? Beantree Posted July 7, 2014 Share Posted July 7, 2014 If they behave like chickens it will be eggs 'in transit' that are laid initially.
