Claireabella
Sorry to bring up this topic again! I found lice on a couple of my hens again yesterday (I'm blaming all the pigeons that keep visiting my garden ); they were treated about four months ago so probably due to be treated again now anyway. My question is, can I treat for lice using a spot on while Bluebell is regrowing feathers? It wasn't Bluebell I found them on but I'm guessing if some of the others have them then she's probably got a few of her own too. I know it's probably not ideal to treat while she's growing new feathers but would perhaps be better than having the irritation of lice? gavclojak
I would treat her. have you used the spot on before?
Pottage
My nuddy ex-batts were treated with Ivemectin a week after we got them, didn't seem to to them any harm.
Claireabella
Thank you, just needed a bit of reassurance! I've used the spot on treatment before, it was prescribed by the vet. I'll go ahead and treat later when I have an extra pair of hands to help me.
