bokbok87
Hello All, I was wondering if any of you have come across this. My bluebell has got some sort of infection in her middle toe. I am unsure if its common but it looks almost like a damage scale or something has got underneath the skin. I originally thought it might be scaly leg but after a couple of days nothing seems to have happened other than this little bit of infection. Any suggestions or ideas on what it is would be great! Other than this Blue is still happily destroying the garden, laying eggs and eating well. Could it be from being in a muddy garden possibly? Images I know aren't the best.....she runs around far too much! It must be bothering her as she has stopped letting me pick her up! And I know - strange how that one nail is also a different colour to the rest. Shes just special!
Beantree
It looks like a scale is lifting Bokbok. That would suggest either it is being shed, it has been damaged during scratching or that it is the onset of scaly leg mite. I would simply ignore it at this stage, but watch that no more scales in that area start to lift.
