Feet pecking

Recommended Posts

We have two girls a little under a year old. About a month ago we discovered Mindy with a bleeding foot - not sure how this happened. We cleaned it and sprayed with purple wound spray. Watched carefully and sure enough Molly was pecking her so we separated them during the day for five days (they could see each other but not get at each other). Almost as soon as the feet appeared healed and we allowed them contact it started again, much worse. So bad in fact we had to seek treatment from the vet. They have now been separated during the day for almost two weeks, coming back together at dusk. The minute the eglu door is open in the morning and they come out Molly goes for the feet again. They have plenty of space, feeders and water. We are at a loss to know what to do. Any ideas gratefully received.
