gavclojak
One of my old girls Alana a three year old ex commercial lady came to me with a limp, she has a back toe missing and a little stumpy bit she has always had it and it has always remained the same. Over the last few weeks I have noticed her front toe has started curling inward, a bit like when you clench your fist, I have watched her try to straighten it out while she is standing, in every other way she is fine. Does anyone know what this is all about?
jimnpaula
Has she got a long nail on the bendy toe that might need trimming? Crystal has always had a broken toe that bends sideways and the nail can grow quite long.
Beantree
We regularly have toes bend when the nails are too long Gavclojak. But we have a Wyandotte with increasingly bent toes and I wonder if it is the joints failing? She will be 5 in Spring.
gavclojak
Thanks for the reply, no her nails are fine, they do lots of digging so I have never had to trim but I di keep an eye on them. Maybe it's an age thing?
