Hello, I've just called in to Omlet to see if they could explain the cube run extension situation. I was thinking I might extend my new cube run in the future, and noticed they're on special today. Upon further inspection it appears they've changed the styling as of today, and are only clearancing out the old style. The newer ones don't seem to be compatible with my cube merely a few weeks old. Anyone have insight on that? I had to leave a message as Omlet didn't answer the phone. Thanks!

I had the same email. Looking at the website it looks as though the old style run extensions won't be compatible with the new runs issued as of today, but looking at the listing for the new Cube extensions, it looks as though the new ones might fit the old ones - I'm not sure and was a bit confused too.

I daren't even look but I'm happy with mine, have added as many extensions as bank balance and marriage will allow and it's staying as it is ... as long as you have happy, healthy chooks, it doesn't matter what version of home they live in ... as long as you love 'em, that's what counts :)

From Omlet: "the only thing we have changed is the shape and style of the run skirt in order to make packaging easier. The skirt comes detached now so that it can be packaged flat pack for convenience. You can buy run extensions still that fit perfectly. The old and new style runs fit the new style run extension, but the old style run extension does not fit the new cube run style."

Sounds good!
