Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

My exbats have always had their own outside run. There were 4 of them and they would make an awful mess of the garden. As I now only have 2 I decided to let them free range in the whole garden with the other free rangers. My 2 hybrid bantams have moved in with them They all snuggle up together like they are the best buddies ever. This seems most odd, as the batties have always been very unfriendly.
