patsylabrador
I've been embracing my grey hair and it's going really well and I love the silver colour it is but I got bored waiting for the last henna to grow out of the last few inches and so I dyed the ends bright, bright red, like scarlet. I wear it up in a sort of upside-down ponytail........ I'm sure the style has an official name but I don't know it. It looks nice with the silver, like a Christmas decoration. Anyway I was out today and a young chap came up and said "I like yer'air " he then told me it made me look active and like I did fun stuff. How nice is that? It takes a bit of courage to go up to a stranger and comment on how they look, especially in London where I think we have a possibly unfair reputation for being surly. He slightly spoilt it by saying not enough older people do that sort of thing and just look a bit.......here he pulled a sad face but he made me feel happy and it was a friendly gesture which I enjoyed. Alis girls
Lovely story. Londoners do get a bad press. . I'm not a Londoner but have lived here since1980 and can do a fair London accent. Your hair sounds lovely! I am thinking a purple streak in mine for my nurse reunion next weekend. Purple was our uniform colour.
patsylabrador
Just in case you need a recommendation - I use Crazy Colour by Renbow. They've been around a long time and have a big range of colours which you can find on Amazon. It's creamy and gentle and washes out after a few washes. I've got a new bottle of black, my idea is to dye a few strands in the hope that it will swirl in and out of the silver. That's the idea, it never quite turns out quite how I imagine but it's fun trying out different colours. I did try their silver but it did absolutely nothing so I've binned that and bought 's touch of silver' (something like that )conditioner instead. That's very nice for blond and grey hair. Good luck with your purple and have fun at your reunion. Show us a picture, I love seeing pictures.
