stacey30
Hi, Wondered if anyone could offer any advice? My hen had sour crop two weeks ago, she recovered but a week later caught a chest infection. I took her to the vets on Thursday as her breathing was noticeably loud and this is when she said it was an infection and she's currently on Baytril. Croup is fine now emptying properly. Since Thursday though she has dragged her tail, the vet said this is because she isn't feeling great but she has made good progress ie now solid poos, eating well, comb is up and pink, not so sleepy. She is not in lay and it's definitely not egg problems. She stands up right almost vertical. She is obviously out of the flock but I'm unsure of what to do, still on Baytril till Thursday but she looks so peculiar in this position
gavclojak
Is she walking normally?

gavclojak
If she is fine in every other way I wouldn't worry, my oldest bestest girl has a downward pointing tail but is perfectly ok
