He and his girlfriend are living in Australia and plan to get married there. No family members will be going to that wedding, just their new Australian friends. They are then coming home in August to have 2 wedding celebrations, one Muslim wedding on a Friday (girlfriend is Muslim with a huge family) and another party/ celebration the next day. They did have a venue for the Saturday party, but cancelled it because it was too small. Now they have found a field in Godstone where they would like to have the party. My most immediate question is ...... does anybody have any idea how much it would cost to hire some (nice ) portaloos for around 300 people for 2 days?! sjp Posted April 24, 2016 Share Posted April 24, 2016 I've had a look at a couple of hire company sites I use of pricing up work and it looks like it's one of the items that you need to enquire about with the company direct. but it's not so much the higher price of the units it's the delivery/collection (normally 2 charges) and the service charge i.e. cleaning they have to be cleaned before they can be removed from site normally the hire charge is per week per unit some places do weekend rates there's one that say's from £18 a week that'll be plus VAT one thought are you going to hire a marque if so they might/will have a contact or two or be able to do a package deal Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I will get DS to check the toilet situation. The nicer toilets seem to need an electricity supply which they won't have so I expect they will have to hire a generator too.
