sweetpea08
I have a question for those of you with these feeders or similar I am wanting to attach these to the outside of the run for ease of refilling for both myself and for when a neighbour or family member looks after the girls while we are away. I am ok with cutting holes in the run to allow for this and was thinking that I would put them in at the final height and use a box or similar for the girls until they grown enough that they don't need it. Is it possible to attach these to the outside I am assuming it is if so how did you do it and what height have you got yours off the ground
Cat tails
Why not first attaching them to the inside of the run with cable ties, so you can adjust the height when needed. And then when you are satisfied with the result attach it on the outside. I have Singingfriend Feedr s hanging on the inside with cable ties. They are technically wild bird feeders, but very practical for chickens too.
