GrannyTrish
Does anyone breed their own meal worms? If so, what's involved, please? I'm not sure if I could do it as the dead ones give me the heebeejeebees when they seem to move on their own, but I might be able to persuade DH. Luvachicken
oooh yuck, rather you than me. I get undyed maggots from the local fishing tackle shop and that is bad enough - especially as they have to live in the fridge. The local birds get most of them and the girls get a few. They only cost £ 3.00 for 1/2 a pint I think and there are loads of them. They don't make the same scratchy noise that mealworms do.
