Nicola O Posted September 12, 2007 Share Posted September 12, 2007 I used to have a nice wooden trough with an ornamental grass against the back wall of the house. That was until a couple of months ago when one of the chooks decided to flatten the grass and make a little nest in the middle of it, and practically everyday since I have had an egg left in it. My hens decide to sleep and poop in their nest before laying eggs in them ,so it isnt quite such a pretty sight.
