Gooner Boy
Ouch. I'm gonna get into trouble now... Scratch that, she's just come and looked over my shoulder, laughed, and given me a 'friendly' punch in the arm on her way out.

He is also an "Ooops, word censored!"NAL fan! Given that my aunt also posts on here to do i get a prize for having the most family members on the forum?! Martin B
He is a wiser person than you obviously Helen. It is you who is deprived of football knowledge!
Gooner Boy
It is you who is deprived of football knowledge! In her defence, she was never a Championship Manager geek in the way that I was. Most of my football knowledge comes from playing that game religiously. As for my realism, that comes from being a recent, and as of yet, not particularly diehard fan. You'll never find me blindly predicting "Ooops, word censored!"nal to win every game at least 4-0. On the flip side, I don't start muttering darkly about how we're going to get thrashed if and when we go 1-0 down in the first half. I'm a bit of a fence sitter really. It's the most painfree way. Plus, if "Ooops, word censored!"nal pull out a shocker, I have Brighton to show an interest in. Not that they're actually any good.

gooner.girl
Yep support your local team, fortunately my local team is the team. It was ours once too, Martin remember?! We're warwickshire born (in tom's case) and bred at heart! Not stupid enough to be Villa fans though!
Martin B
So you are admitting to being a glory supporter. I get the feeling gooner boy is on the computer innocently reading the forum with gooner girl over the shoulder hitting and shouting at him and then being yanked off the computers so gooner girl can shout some abuse at me. Martin You'd be wrong on both counts Martin - am not a glory fan nor are Tom and i in the same house any more - am back home on the lap top with the cat sitting on top of me, watching 'i'm a celebrity' and posting back to your inane comments! DH has made me toast and the dog is sitting next to me drooling! Tom is at my folks house which we left an hour ago after having a rather nice casserole for dinner. So there! Gooner Boy
Nah, I'm actually just treading carefully until I feel confident enough on here to start taunting all the people who support sides that aren't sitting 3 points clear at the top of the Premier League with a game in hand Well, I guess that's the gloves off then...
